Teen Patti Master does not stop at Classic Teen Patti. The app lobby lists 15+ game modes, each with its own twist on the three-card formula. This guide walks through the main modes – what changes in each one, how the strategy shifts, and which ones to start with if you are new.
Classic Teen Patti
The standard version everyone knows. Three cards each, hand rankings from Trail down to High Card, and the choice between playing blind or seen. If you have never played Teen Patti on an app before, start here. The rules match what you would play at a home game or during Diwali – no wild cards, no special conditions, just the core game.
Muflis (Lowball)
Muflis flips the ranking order completely. The lowest hand wins instead of the highest. A High Card that would lose in Classic becomes the strongest hand in Muflis. A Trail – normally the best – is now the worst hand you can hold.
This is not just a gimmick. Muflis forces you to rethink every instinct you have from Classic. Cards you would fold become cards you push. Cards you would raise on become cards you fold. If Classic is your comfort zone, Muflis is the mode that breaks you out of it.
AK47
In this mode, four card ranks become wild: Aces, Kings, Fours, and Sevens. Any A, K, 4, or 7 in your hand can substitute for any other card to form a better combination. This means Trails and Pure Sequences show up far more often than in Classic.
The adjustment: since strong hands are more common, your fold threshold has to go up. A Pair that wins in Classic might lose in AK47 because other players are more likely to hold Sequences or Trails. Watch how aggressively others bet – it tells you more in AK47 than in Classic.
Joker
Before each round, a random card rank is declared as the Joker (wild). Unlike AK47 where the wilds are fixed, Joker mode changes them every round. You cannot plan ahead – you adapt after the Joker is announced.
If the declared Joker rank matches cards in your hand, your position improves dramatically. If it does not, you are playing with a standard hand while others might have wild cards. This mode rewards patience and quick evaluation.
Hukam
One suit is declared trump for the round. Cards of the trump suit outrank cards of other suits. This adds a layer that does not exist in standard Teen Patti – suit suddenly matters for determining hand strength, not just for Colour/Flush hands.
Dragon vs Tiger
A completely different game from Teen Patti. Two cards are dealt – one to “Dragon” and one to “Tiger.” You predict which card will be higher. Each round takes seconds, making it a fast-paced side game between Teen Patti sessions.
Rummy
The classic 13-card Indian card game. Form valid sequences and sets from your hand and declare before your opponents. This is a separate game entirely – different rules, different strategy, different card count. Both Points Rummy and Pool Rummy variants are available in the Teen Patti Master lobby.
Andar Bahar
A traditional Indian guessing game. One card is placed face up in the middle. Cards are then dealt alternately to two piles – Andar (inside) and Bahar (outside). You bet on which pile will receive the matching card first. Simple rules, fast rounds.
Other Games in the Lobby
The full lobby also includes 7 Up Down, Car Roulette, Poker, Fruit Line, 3 Card Poker, Best of Five, In Out, Variation, and more. The exact list changes with app updates – new modes are added periodically.
Which Mode to Start With
If you are new to Teen Patti apps:
- Start with Classic – learn the core mechanics without any wild card complications.
- Try Muflis second – it uses the same rules but inverted, which deepens your understanding of hand values.
- Move to AK47 or Joker – once you are comfortable with rankings, wild cards add a new decision layer.
- Try Dragon vs Tiger or Andar Bahar – these are quick side games that work well as breaks between Teen Patti rounds.
